Translating Your Project - Quality & Procedure

Turnaround & Prices Quality Procedure
We provide translation in particular between our mother tongue language Chinese and English, Japanese, Korean and French. Our team of qualified translators provide 24/7 service to corporate clients and individuals. We are confident that we always hit the spot linguistically because our language experts include professionals such as skilled translators, technical specialists, patent attorneys and high-tech engineers.

Quality Assurance and Procedure

We place the strongest possible emphasis on maintaining the high standards of our recruitment and selection procedures. Our quality mission is to eliminate the risks of translation errors by investing in people with real skills. For us, it is not good enough for a candidate to know a foreign language or two, to be a native speaker and to have academic credentials. All our translators must have extensive knowledge of both their source and target languages. This knowledge must be supported by a very good understanding of technical background, legal knowledge and linguistic diversities that help to constitute a language.

Quality Process

Phase One: Briefing

We obtain the document(s) from you and the Project Manager assesses the scale of the translation task.We can receive your work in any format such as MS Word, Adobe PDF, Web site, Html, PowerPoint, Excel, E-mail etc. The best-fit format for translation purposes is a word processing format (for instance, MS Word-compliant) or html.

The Project Manager is your representative at ChinaPTPA.com. He/she ensures that we first understand and then are able to meet all of your specific requirements. Alongside fundamental managerial skills we expect all our Project Managers to be fluent in at least two foreign languages.

Phase Two: Quotation

We provide a detailed quotation for the work, including a breakdown of the required translation/localisation services. We then wait for your approval to start the translation task.

Phase Three: Delegation

We receive the source file(s) and the Project Manager assigns the material to the appropriate translator or team. The first translator works on your file. We communicate with you to clarify issues such as terminologies and something else.

Phase Four: Review / Proofread

The translation is sent to a second translator or team for review. They proof-read the work then check for any inconsistencies that may have occurred. We will keep you informed of any progress of the project.

Phase Five: Delivery and Follow up

The Project Manager verifies the final work before release and confirms with you that all expectations are met. All documents of  translation are kept in our database for at least one year. We will send you a questionnaire and await your feedback.

Our database contains hundreds of  language experts include professionals such as skilled translators, technical specialists, patent attorneys and high-tech engineers specialising in the translation of Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Internet, E-commerce, Semiconductor, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, and Chemistry. However, we try to keep the translation team for a particular assignment to a maximum of three or four people if it is a project and two for smaller duties. This ensures that there will be consistency in the translation, a factor that is especially appreciated by our repeat customers.

The more we understand your needs, The better we can serve you.

We'd prefer you to provide all supporting materials including clear description of duty as specific and detailed as possible on what is it you want to achieve at your earliest convenience since unnecessary delays can easily be avoided by adhering to this simple rule.
